When ignition is turned on vehicle won’t start, no sound at all

When you start your vehicle and it won’t start, also no sound is heard the most probable cause of this problem is the one that involves the battery, to confirm that it is a battery problem, turned on your ignition, hold your key on this position then check if there is any light that appears on the instrument panel.

If the light is dim or if there is no light at all then you have a battery problem, check the battery if the terminal is corroded, if it is corroded just clean the battery terminal, if it is not corroded then you have dead battery and it needs a replacement.

If in case the light you have notice is clear enough and your battery is in good condition then the problem indicates a bad solenoid, solenoid is the one that triggers the starter on to start the engine, if it has a problem then your engine won’t start.

The only remedy is to replace your solenoid, when you replace your solenoid it is better to replace also your starter.
